An opportunity for Bath Preservation Trust members to see behind the scenes at the workshop of the stone and plaster conservation specialists Cliveden Conservation. We will be shown some of the current work being undertaken by the team and hear about their recent projects.
We will then travel to the beautiful historic village of Mells for lunch before visiting the church with its significant stained glass, monuments and arts and crafts embroidery, and then walk through the village to view some of the notable heritage buildings.
Monday 14 July 2025 - Meet and drop off point at Terrace Walk, Bath
Meet at 9.45 for 10am departure, return to Bath for 4.30pm
Cost: Coach travel and tours £45.00. Lunch to be paid for separately, booking is essential
Accessibility: The tour of the workshop will include uneven surfaces, flights of stairs and periods of standing. The walk around Mells village in the afternoon will take place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
