In this interactive two-hour workshop, children will:
- Learn about the Herschels' scientific discoveries
- Complete an interactive museum trail, exploring the properties of light and colour
- Learn about visible and invisible light
- Complete a hands-on cyanotype print
Open to home educated children, suggested age 7-11.
£6.50 per child, 1 accompanying adult free of charge. Additional adults £3.
Advance booking essential.
Once you have booked your ticket, please email learning@bptrust.org.uk and let us know your child's age.
Children must be accompanied by an adult (max. 4 children per adult).
Not suitable for children under 4.
Please note the museum is not wheelchair or pushchair accessible.
Sensory resources are available to support any children who may benefit from them.
Due to limited space on the workshop, please do not bring siblings who will not be taking part. (Please contact us if this presents a barrier to attendance).
