This interactive workshop dives into how Bath was transformed in the eighteenth century from a sleepy town to a fashionable Georgian city.

In this 2-hour session, children will:

  • Learn about Georgian architecture and classical influences
  • Explore the museum with a trail sheet
  • Explore Bath’s layout and development using our scale model of the city
  • Make a classical column from air-drying clay

This structured, museum-led learning session includes completing activities at tables supported by museum staff and volunteers.

Open to home educated children, suggested age 7-11.

£6.50 per child, advance booking essential.

Children must be accompanied by an adult (max. 4 children per adult).

Not suitable for children under 4.

Due to limited space on the workshop, please do not bring siblings who will not be taking part. (Please contact us if this presents a barrier to attendance).
