Visit No.1 Royal Crescent and experience our immersive tour which brings the house to life.
Meet a family who are in Bath for the season. As you move through the rooms of the house you will eavesdrop on their day, finding out how they lived in the Georgian city, issues and challenges of the day as well as details about Bath. You will also meet the servants and understand the different lives they led.
The ‘Georgians at Home’ experience features sensitive stories relating to the transatlantic slave trade as the source of much wealth in the City at that time. This content is told within the context of the time rather than from our contemporary viewpoint, so some visitors may find this upsetting. Staff will support anyone wanting to pause their visit.
The experience runs on a timed loop and guides you through the house. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your ticket slot, to ensure you do not miss any of your experience.
We recommend that you purchase a guide book or access the museum guide app to support your visit, available on the door when you arrive.
Please note that our 'Jane Austen in Bath' experience runs on the last Friday of each month; 27th May, 24th Jun, 29th Jul, 26th Aug, 30th Sept and 28th Oct. If you wish to book tickets on these dates you will need to go back a page and select 'Jane Austen in Bath'.Tickets
