Stargazing with the Bath Astronomers: Astronomy on the evening of the Geminids Meteor Showers
Friday 12th December, 6.00pm to 8pm
Visit the Herschel Museum of Astronomy to have the opportunity to take part in astronomy on the evening of the Geminids Meteor Showers and from the garden William Herschel discovered the Planet Uranus from in 1781.
The Bath Astronomers will be in the garden and museum from 6pm to 8pm to help you stargaze and talk about all things Herschel.
Please Note: This event will go ahead even if the weather does not permit observing, as the museum will be open to explore and the Bath Astronomers will provide talks and tours with museum staff. The Museum is on three floors of an 18th century grade listed townhouse, with access to the first floor and basement/garden by stairs only.
