 About the Writer

Libby Foot is an emerging creative writer and poet from the South West. A copywriter by profession, she has been writing poetry and fiction for many years. Libby was recently chosen to be the Writer in Residence for No. 1 Royal Crescent’s exhibition, "The Most Tiresome Place in the World“: Jane Austen & Bath". A keen Austen fan, her work for the exhibition includes a poetry collection that explores themes of outsiderhood, periphery spaces, and women's roles in Georgian society. Libby is looking forward to facilitating several creative workshops and helping others tell stories through poetry.
