Learn how to create beautiful botanical watercolours inspired by our Jane Austen exhibition. Artist Holly Foskett-Barnes will provide step-by-step instructions on how to paint heirloom flowers that Austen grew in her cottage garden, allowing you to relax into the process of watercolour painting. You will leave with your own botanical watercolour illustration.
This will be a very relaxed workshop, suitable for all abilities and levels of experience.
Duration of workshop 2 hours.
What's included? All materials will be provided but if you would prefer to bring your own materials then please do. A glass of wine or non-alcoholic alternative is included in the price. Tea and coffee will be available.

About the artist
Holly is a visual artist living and working in Bristol. She works predominantly in watercolours to create illustrations and paintings that invite others to connect with nature and seasonal living. Holly is deeply influenced by the natural world, particularly her allotment, plants and local landscapes. Through her art and workshops, Holly aims to provide others with creative tools to support their personal practices and wellness.
