The Museum of Bath Architecture
Join Piers Taylor - architect, academic, and broadcaster - for an evening talk celebrating the living city. Using Taylor’s work on Watchet’s East Quay and its community hub and social enterprise, the Onion Collective, as a focal point, this talk will explore how communities can initiate change on their terms, and the social and cultural impact of projects like East Quay. These themes will open up a discussion on current challenges in Bath and how similar concepts might be applied here. The talk will be followed by a Q&;A with both Piers Taylor and Alex Sherman, CEO of Bath Preservation Trust
Ticket includes one glass of wine or soft drink alternative. There will be an opportunity to purchase more drinks and to enjoy the museum after the talk has finished
