Come and celebrate Halloween at the Herschel Museum. Hear talks on the myths and legends surrounding Halloween as well as learning about the Moon itself. If clear, telescopes will be available to observe the night sky from the garden. Some spooky astronomers will be on hand to chat about the stars and planets in the autumn skies!

Note: This event will go ahead even if the weather does not permit observing.
Ticket £30 (for up to 6 people) 4 sessions available. Please Note only 1 ticket available per session, select '1' for ticket 'Quantity'.
Session 1: 5pm to 6pm (sold out)
Session 2: 6.30pm to 7.30pm (sold out)
Session 3: 8pm to 9pm (sold out)
Session 4: 9.30pm to 10.30pm
Visitor information
Whilst the government have lifted restrictions we remain committed to ensuring the safety of our visitors and our staff. For this reason, the following guidelines will remain in place and we ask you to follow them when you visit.
On arrival please wait by the front door and keep a safe distance, you will be welcomed by staff at your booking time.
Visitors are asked to wear a face covering unless exempt.
The team onsite will be cleaning regularly throughout the day, paying special attention to bannisters, door handles, light switches.
The team will be wearing PPE and will make sure they are at least 1+ metres away from you . Please help keep everyone safe by adhering to our social distancing request.
You are welcome to use the NHS track and trace app on arrival.
Please do not attend if anyone in your group has Covid-19 symptoms.
Please advise us by phone or email, if anyone develops Covid-19 symptoms during the session or soon afterwards. Our contact details are on our website.
Bath Preservation Trust reserves the right to close the museum at short notice for any reason.
