Inspired by the curious, and often times deadly medicines and remedies of the 18th century, come along and concoct your own curious cures!
Make and label powerful herbal remedies inspired by our collections, then take home a recipe card filled with gory Georgian medicines designed to cure an array of Georgian illnesses and diseases!
Tickets
This activity will be separate to a visit to the museum.
Your ticket does not include a Tour of No.1 Royal Crescent.
There are a limited number of spaces available for this activity. 12 Children per session.
Each session lasting 30 minutes
The activity will take place in the Servants Hall. Please enter from the Courtyard.
FREE for discovery card holders or £2.50 per child
You will be asked to show your Discovery card on admission
If it is only your child taking part, you only need to book them a place, you do not need to book a non partaking adult. If you wish to take part too then please do book yourself a ticket.
Maximum of one adult per child please (if watching & not taking part)
It's not just for adults, all welcome!
Visitor information
Whilst the government have lifted restrictions we remain committed to ensuring the safety of our visitors and our staff. For this reason, the following guidelines will remain in place and we ask you to follow them when you visit.
On arrival please wait by the front door and keep a safe distance, you will be welcomed by staff at your booking time.
Visitors are asked to wear a face covering unless exempt.
The team onsite will be cleaning regularly throughout the day, paying special attention to bannisters, door handles, light switches.
The team will be wearing PPE and will make sure they are at least 1+ metres away from you . Please help keep everyone safe by adhering to our social distancing request.
You are welcome to use the NHS track and trace app on arrival.
Please do not attend if anyone in your group has Covid-19 symptoms.
