In this fun, colourful visible mending workshop, artist Anna Chapman- Andrews will take you through a few examples before choosing a design, colour palette and techniques - from felting to embroidery - which you’ll use to make your own embroidered felt patch. All abilities welcome: no sewing skill needed. You will leave with your new patch, plus a bundle of resources, illustrated instructions and inspiration to continue making - and mending! - at home.
With expert guidance, enthusiastic support and your own creative courage, add beauty to your existing belongings and give them a whole new lease of life.
This will be a very relaxed workshop, suitable for all abilities.
Duration of workshop 2 hours
What's included? All materials will be provided but if you would prefer to bring your own sewing kit and crewel/ embroidery threads, please feel free to do so. Tea and coffee will be available.
Suitable for 16 years old and above.
